‘Yui no Kokoro’ (spiritual bond)
Confectioners in the same town tend to be competitors,
but in Ono they are all friends with each other.
From generation to generation, they have maintained a strong spiritual bond.
They talk about their ingredients with one another and share their recipes for water ‘manju.’
This water ‘manju’ came about as a result of their cooperation and communal sharing of ideas.
This spirit of helping one another is called ‘Yui no Kokoro’ (spiritual bond) and has been deeply rooted in Ono for a long time.
This water ‘manju’ came about from this ‘Yui no Kokoro.’
